Danny Macaskill takes a death-defying ride in his native home of Skye

I spend a week in the Highlands every summer, hiking, camping wild and drinking whisky — and have fallen in love with the Scottish wilderness as a result. But it’s not the most bike-friendly terrain up there in the wilderness, as you’re usually navigating rocky paths or hopping through boggy ground.

For the first time in one of his films, Danny climbs aboard a mountain bike and returns to his native home of the Isle of Skye to take on a death-defying ride along the notorious Cuillin Ridgeline.

If you suffer from vertigo, you’re going to find this a nail-biting few minutes…
