Although the physical store closed earlier in the year, Tokyo Fixed lives on as an in-house brand at its successor Kinoko Cycles.

Their latest offering is a remix of the Dart, a sharply tailored steel track/street frame with oversize tubing. The new version retains the same geometry as the original  but this time around benefits from custom drawn steel and  a slick paint job by Californian designer Will Rei.

Get the Tokyo Fixed Dart (frame only) from Kinoko Cycles for £270 or scroll down to see the bike being put through its paces on London’s Westway at speeds of up to 45mph… with no brakes…

If you’re chewing over components for your build, here are the specs for the frame:

– Drilled for a rear brake
– Seatpost diameter: 31.6mm
– Rear Spacing: 120mm
– 44mm headtube
– Seat tube clamp: 34.9mm with included shim
– 2.2kg frame weight for a 550mm
