Meet the man on a shopper bike who is instagramming Japan, one wheelie at a time

Amongst the vapour trails, coffee cups and the selfies, you occasionally see a refreshingly different kind of photo on Instagram.
Scrolling through my feed a couple of weeks ago I spotted a guy doing wheelies on his bike, somewhere that definitely wasn’t London.
On closer inspection I realised he was riding the same clunky orange shopper bike in all of the shots: past shopping centres, across pedestrian crossings, even outside what looks like a Japanese temple.
I’m not sure why he’s doing it, and his Instagram profile offers few other clues, but with shots this fun is an explanation really required?
