The UCI World Tour — made minimal

Bike-riding artist Rebecca J Kaye seems to have developed a canny knack for reducing the world of bikes to a colourful minimum.
Hot on the heels of her Weekly Workings comes a new series immortalising the UCI World Tour, with each graphic created for a race as it happens.
“The reason behind the info graphic is to help to tell the story of the races. What I really like about them is reading up about the history. Races generally start for a reason to mark the opening of something or to publicise a newspaper. The routes are significant too, like the Liege-Bastogne-Liege, this route was decided as it was the furthest away that officials could return by train in a day to marshall the race. The graphics, I hope, make you want to find out more when you see how varied they are and how long they’ve been going”.
