Davis, Connie, and the story of the first Women’s Olympic Road Race
James Greig | September 12, 2014
Rapha’s latest film tells the story of two of America’s most inspiring road racers, Davis Phinney and Connie Carpenter-Phinney:
“For anyone who saw them race, Davis and Connie came to represent the best in American road racing, combining bold racing with uncompromising attitudes on and off the bike.”
But their story is about much more than just cycling — and as I hadn’t even heard of Davis and Connie until yesterday, it made the film all the more moving. So I’m going to stop writing now so that you can scroll up and hit play.
